The Fun Day

On Thursday 26th of April 2018 My mum,dad,Lui and I were going to the movies on a beautiful morning.

My Parents wouldn’t give a hint about which movie we were going to watch, They Stated that it will be one of our  Favourite movies, I watched them pay the tickets until they gave us a great big hint…It was a movie that has a Gigantic Gorilla, me and Lui knew straight away that it would be… The Rampage. We jumped up and down until we got to Cinema 4 The not on the door Says ‘ Please wait until cleaning is over’ we waited for about 10 minutes and when the cinema was open everyone was in it was a full house the cinema lights went off and the screen went on.  It was a sad and a very funny movie some of the highlights were inappropriate and it actually made the audience laugh.

As we headed home, the car raced through the plane road, skipping car after car.

I felt scared so my mum told my dad off for speeding,  when we reached our destination we hopped out and into the house changed and my mum was tired so she stayed home and me dad and Lui went to Lui’s training. Training took ages it felt like I was stuck in prison for one Month. Finally we were at home and we had dinner( I actually forgot what we had for dinner)

After dinner we headed to the sitting room and watched teenage mutant ninja turtles and I was watching Tv until 11:00pm and I went straight to sleep.

I loved that day and it was because I got to spend more time with my family and have fun together as a family and I will always remember that day in my heart.  It will be a treasure to remember. Hope we could do that another day.

We have finished our holidays and we wrote a recount about what we did and here is mine I actually didn't find anything hard. What I found easy was writing my epic recount. Enjoy!!

Refugee

For term 2 we have been reading a book called Refugee by Alan Gratz and we had different activities for each week and here is some of the things I have been doing I will also update it each week. What I found hard was looking for the information for my refugee activities and what i found easy was drawing some of the pictures.

Babysitting

We have been doing keeping our self's safe (K.O.S) and we had to do guidelines for babysitters and here is mine what I found hard was information and what i found easy was making a book shape.

Happy Snowman

Planning

There once was a very happy snowman

Who was cool as a hit man

Who was loved by all the boys and girls

And he was more than a string of pearls

He would watch them run and play

With each passing day.

One day the sun was so bright

the snowman knew something wasn’t quite right

He hoped each day

That he will not defrost away

If only he could last until night.

But the snowman will never ever get frostbite

As the day became warmer and warmer

The snowman knew he was in danger

He said his goodbye

As he looked in their eyes

then said “I promise I’ll see you again”

then melted at ten.

The next snow day

The children came out to play

They worked for hours together

to get their friend back to them as the day got better.

They put on his black hat

with covering him with a bath mat.

Before the end

They all had their friend.

The happy snowman joined them once again.

And they called the snowman Zen

It ill be okay if he is melting away

Because there will be another day.

for the last few weeks we have been learning about ballads poems and we had to write our own ballads, and this is my narrative ballad. I worked hard on this It was fun because I had heaps of ideas and it was hard because I ha to put figurative language.

Angles

WALT: identify angles such as right, acute, obtuse.

What I learnt was naming all the angles.  

What I found very hard was trying to put my effort into it.

What i really love was doing my Quiz.
